Forensic Identification is the identification of physical evidence. The Identification Officer at the New Glasgow Police Service is A/Sergeant Alan Roberts. He performs a vast range of duties including fingerprint identification, evidence retrieval, crime scene photography, ballistic sciences and investigations for cases such as break and enters, automobile accidents, homicides, sudden death, etc. A/Sgt. Roberts was specially trained for his job at the Canadian Police College in Ottawa.
