The Communications Section of the New Glasgow Police Service serves as the vital emergency communications focal point for the Town of New Glasgow and the Town of Trenton as well as the Trenton, Little Harbour, Abercrombie and Pictou Landing Fire Departments. The Communications Section operatings seven days a week, 24 hours a day, the Section has the responsibility to respond to all 9-1-1 emergency and non-emergency calls (902) 755-8353. The Section's dispatch personnel are responsible for deploying the appropriate patrol units throughout the community in response to all emergency calls.
